Refund and Returns Policy

Change of mind

At Adara, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. This is why we have established a clear and straight forward exchange and store credit policy. If you change your mind within 14 days of making a purchase and the item is in its original condition, we will be more than happy to arrange an exchange or provide you with store credit. Keep in mind that transportation costs associated with change of mind will be at your own expense.

In situations where items need to be assessed outside of the 14-day timeframe, please contact our support team or visit one of our stores to discuss your options further. It’s important to understand that our definition of ‘original condition’ refers to items that are in their original packaging or that have been repackaged as new. Any items that fall outside of this criteria will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that our exchange and store credit policy excludes clearance, outlet, or bespoke orders. If items are unpacked or rewrapped, they will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Warranty

Adara is proud to offer a 12-month warranty on all of our products. Some items may even come with an extended warranty, as noted on the product page or outlined by the New Zealand Consumer Law. We want our customers to feel confident that they are investing in high-quality, well-crafted products that we stand behind.

The Adara furniture warranty is not transferable and does not apply:

  • To products sold as seconds, display floor stock, damaged floor stock, repaired products or products that have a defect where this has been bought to your attention before you purchased the products;
  • Where repairs to a product are made or attempted by a service provider other than one approved by Adara;
  • If the product has not been used or maintained in accordance with any manufacturer’s instructions provided with the product;
  • If the product has been modified, incorrectly adjusted or operated, subjected to incorrect electrical supply or inconsistent electrical supply or used with inappropriate accessories; or
  • If the product is misused or tampered with in any way.

In the unlikely event that an item you purchased from us is faulty, we will repair or replace it and meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

If a repair or replacement is not feasible, we will offer a credit or refund.

To make a warranty claim, please contact our online support team. It’s important to retain proof of purchase so we can verify your claim. 

Refunds

For approved refunds, we will process them to the original purchaser via the original payment method used to place the order. Refunds will be processed within 48 hours.
